The Porto Flavia Tour is designed for travellers who want to experience the most impressive side of South West Sardinia from the sea: high cliffs, deep blue water, mining history and the unmistakable profile of Pan di Zucchero.
When weather and sea conditions allow it, the route leaves Calasetta and reaches the coast of Masua, where the old mining harbour appears carved into the cliff above the water.
Porto Flavia was not a mine, but an extraordinary engineering work created to load minerals directly onto ships. Seen from the rib boat, its cliffside opening tells a different Sardinia: wild, vertical and deeply connected to the history of the territory.
The tour lasts 4 hours, with daily departures at 9:00, 15:00 and 17:00. The price is 70 € per person, 50 € for children aged 4 to 10 and free under 4 years old. Minimum 4 participants.

From the sea, the scale of this place is immediate: the rock rises vertically, the blue becomes deeper and the opening of Porto Flavia seems suspended between industrial archaeology and wild landscape.
Built in the 1920s to make the loading of minerals extracted in the Masua area more efficient, Porto Flavia is now one of the most iconic views of the Iglesiente coast, facing the sea in front of Pan di Zucchero.
With BelluMari, the experience remains a sea tour: navigation, panoramic stops, relaxation on board and the chance to admire a coastline that constantly changes shape, colour and intensity.
Pan di Zucchero dominates the view with its 133 metres of limestone rock rising from the sea. Around it, the coast alternates pale cliffs, coves and traces of the mining past.
Every passage by rib boat offers a different perspective: at times close and powerful, at times wide and panoramic, with the cliffs and sea changing continuously around you.
The route is always evaluated by the skippers according to wind and sea conditions, so the tour runs only when navigation is pleasant and safe.
